Creating jobs
I believe that free markets work best when the tax burden is lowered on small to mid-sized businesses - the job creators. When I'm in the Georgia General Assembly, I will make it my mission to attract businesses to my district as well as the rest of Georgia. I will also work hard to inspire entrepreneurs in my area to create their own businesses. Those future employers will be given every opportunity to grow their businesses thereby creating more jobs to expand the tax base. Free markets is the philosophy that has made our country great. I am dedicated to that vision.
Improving transportation
The Atlanta metropolitan area has become a victim of its own success. Unprecedented growth over the years has led to traffic congestion, a hindrance to interested companies wishing to relocate here. We need to find a way to create a private-public sector partnership to improve existing transportation options as well as new modes of transportation that includes light rail, road expansion and trolley systems. To me, transportation equals job growth and a better quality of life.
Strengthen our schools
Education is key to Georgia's future success. If we want to compete, we need to have quality schools in District 51 and the entire Peach State. With incentives to fund all schools, there is no doubt that our children will have the tools they need to compete for a brighter future in Georgia.
Effective government
I believe in a lean, not mean government. I believe in a government that is filled with transparency and responsiveness. I want a government that is small, efficient and effective. If you send me to the Georgia General Assembly, I promise to work for you instead of the special interests and lobbyists who buy and sell our politicians' votes. I am for a government Of, By and For The People, not Of, By and For The Special Interests!
